Glen Elgin 2011 10 Years Single Malt Whisky

Alright so had a dram of this one last night, quite nice actually Fruity notes hit me first 🍐 like ripe pear and a bit of apple, maybe some dried fruit as it opens up. Quite pleasant on the nose, getting some subtle vanilla and toffee sweetness too On the palate it's surprisingly smooth, not too harsh. There's a warmth that builds gently, lovely spice character - cinnamon and maybe a touch of ginger. Rich and satisfying mouthfeel The finish lingers nicely, get some gentle smokiness coming through and that sweet fruitiness stays with you. Quite well balanced overall 👍 Would deffo have another glass on a cold evening. Cracking stuff this
