Laphroaig 2011 6 Years Single Malt Whisky

Got a wee dram here and the first nosing is sommat else 😌 Plume fairy dust and a herbal hint—like wild oregano or sage just ticklin the nose ✨ Then it gets round and velvet-smooth on the palate, malty but light as a feather. There’s a wee salty edge too, almost like sea air 🌊 Finish is grand... lingers like a long song you dont want to end. Proper cozy warmth, no sharpness at all. Crackin drop, this 🥃👌

Mmm, that first sip hits different, doesn’t it? 🔥 You get this big wave of sweet smoke, like a bonfire with honey poured over it. Then a bit of dark fruit, plums maybe, and a proper kick of Christmas spice. The aftertaste just lingers, all warm and a wee bit woody. It’s like a hug in a glass, really. Feels like it’s been aged in an old sherry cask or summat. Proper good stuff, this. 🥃✨ Just don’t think aboot it too much, eh? Let it do its thing.
