Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

1#1

Oh blimey, this one's got a proper smoky nose, kinda like burnt toast with a hint of leather. 👃 On the palate, it's all honey and vanilla, with a bit of a spicy kick – makes me think of ginger cake! The finish is long and warming, with some woody notes lingering about. Quite smashing, really. 😋 A bit of an odd aftertaste, mind, but no bother – it grows on ya.

Well, I say this whisky's got a lovely warmth to it, like a cozy evening by the fire. 🥃 You taste some honey and maybe a bit of orange peel, with a slight smoky finish that lingers. It's quite smooth, not too harsh on the throat. Makes me feel all content, like after a good walk in the countryside. 😊 Sometimes there's a hint of spice, but it's balnced well. Really enjoy sipping it slowley.

Oh, this one's got a real smoky nose with a hint of apple 🍎. Tastes kinda sweet and spicy, like honey and pepper. The finish is smooth and warmin', nice lingerin' feel 👌. Aroma's strong, a bit o' vanilla there. On the sip, it's rich, maybe too much oak for me. Finish is good, not too sharp, pretty balanced I'd say. Honestly, the nose reminds me of campfires and fruit. Flavour has this creamy texture, subtle warmth. Ends clean, with a touch of spiciness 🥃.
