Glentauchers 2009 14 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right then, just poured a wee dram 🥃. Nose is propr smoky, like a peat fire 🔥. Got some vanila and honey 🍯 hidin in there. Taste is warm... oaky wood 🪵 and some dried fruit 🍇. Bit of spice 🌶️ on the tonge. Finish lingers nicely. Proper good stuff for a chilly eveing. Makes you feel cosy inside 😌. Cheers! 🍻

Right, so this one’s a bit of a puzzle. 👃 Nose hits with *lo* and *yai*, quite fresh, then a whack of *pgpcy* – spicy? Sure, let’s go wi that. 😅 Palate’s where it gets interestin’. *Tmeto eegrs en hess*? Sort of sweet ’n’ earthy, wiv a malty undertone. Finish is *shri n*, slightly dry, but oats? Oats! Overall, it’s a wild ride, definately not boring. 🥃✨

Right, so first thing you get is this lovely smokiness 🌫️, like a proper bonfire night. Then comes the honey 🍯 and a bit of vanilla, maybe some stewed apples? 🍎 On the palate it's bloody smooth, with a spicy kick that lingers. Kinda nutty too? Finish is long and warm, kinda like a hug from the inside. Lovliness, really.
