Tomatin 1977 21 Years Single Malt Whisky

Aha, well here's what hit me right away on the nose 👃... first a lovely wave of ripe apple 🍎 and some gentle honey 🍯. Then a bit of cinnamon spice creeps in, very warming. The taste is a proper journey! Starts with that sweet orange 🍊 and vanilla, but then the smoky, peaty character comes through 🔥. It's not overwhelming, more like a cozy fireplace in the background. There's also a nutty, malty base that holds it all together. Finshes medium-long, with the smoke and a hint of oak lingering. Really well balanced. Quite moreish, tbh! 🥃
