Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Blimey, this whisky's got a proper complex nose, innit? 👃 Hints of smoke and spice hit ya first, then some fruity notes come through. On the palate, it's smooth with a bit of toffe and a dry finish. Really warms ya up! 🔥 Aye, not bad at all for a weekend sipper. 😋

Just tried this whisky – got a really nice smokey aroma, with hints of vanilla and some dried fruits. Tastes a bit of caramel and a touch of spice, quite smooth on the finish. Really warming on a cold day, perfect for sipping slow. 🥃😊 Occasionaly, I get a little oak and maybe a hint of citrus – lovely stuff, innit?

First sip's a bit sharp, yeah? Prbably needs a drop of water. 🤔 After that... oh, there's some nice sweetness coming through. Like caramel or butterscotch, maybe? 👌 Getting a bit of smoke now, kinda woody. Reminds me of a bonfire. 🔥 Finish is quite long and warm. Properly coats the throat, that. 😋 Think I'll have another wee dram.

Okay, just tried this one... First sip is like walking into a old woody library 📚, all leather and a bit dusty. Then, suddenly, a burst of sweetness, like orange marmalade on toast 🍊. There's a definite warmth, kind of spicy, maybe cinnamon? The finish is long, gets a bit smoky 🔥, like a distant bonfire. Some toffe notes creep in too. Quite complex, really. Makes me want another taste to figure it all out. Really enjoyabel, solid dram for a cold evening. 👍
