Cardhu 1962 20 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, so this one's got a proper smoky, peaty kick to it 🔥. Honestly, it's like a campfire in your mouth, but in a good way, you know? Then there's this sweet bit underneath... maybe some honey or vanilla? 🍯 And a bit of oak, for sure. Tastes a bit spicy too, like cinnamon or something. Nice and warm going down. Really smooth texture, though. Lovely.

Oh mate，just had a dram and wow... it’s proper lovely. First thing I get is this warm, toffee-ish sweetness, like caramelised brown sugar mixed with a bit of orange peel. Then there’s a gentle woody spice, kinda like cinnamon sticks left in a drawer. It’s got a soft, malty backbone too, not too heavy, with a hint of dried fruit – like raisins or sultanas. A little smoky? Not like a bonfire, more like a distant fireplace... a subtle warmth. Finish is medium-long, leaves a bit of vanilla and some earthy， peaty notes lingering. Yeah, really nice. Smooth and complex, but not in a trying-too-hard way. 🥃✨ Would happily have another. Luv that kind of dram.
