Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Blimey, this whiskey is proper lush! 🥃 It's got a smooth, riche flavour – kinda coats your mouth all nice and warm. Vanilla and caramel notes come through, making it feel like a hug in a glass. 😊 A bit smoky too, with hints of peat and honey. Sweet but not too much, and a spicy kick that lingers. Really comforting, innit? 🔥 Perfect for a cozy night in. Love how it just warms you up from the inside. 👍

Well, this whisky's got a real nice smoky vibe goin' on! 😊 Sorta like a cozy campfire with some honey sweetness creepin' in. First sip, you feel that warm, peaty kick – almost like breathin' in damp earth after rain. 🌧️ Then there's a burst of dried fruits, maybe raisins or sultanas, mixed with a spicy cinnamon tingle. Finish is long and smooth, leavin' a toffe-like lingerin'. Quite morish, if you ask me! 🥃 A bit of vanilla too, I reckon – makes it feel like a dessert in a glass. Perfect for sippin' slowly on a cold night. Only downfll is it's a tad strong at first, but ya get used to it. Overall, a proper belter! 🔥

Just had a dram and... wow, that’s proper interesting. Fruity first off, like apples and a bit of pear. Then a lovely wave of vanilla and some honey comes through. Hints of spice and smoke in the back, but not overpowering. Finish is long, warming, with a touch of dark chocolate and nut. Really moreish. 🥃👍 A nice balance between sweet and smoky, init?

Hmm, this one’s a bit tricky to taste... Getting strong smoke and something sweet... maybe honey? 🍯 Then a kick of spice at the back of the throat... Can’t quite place the finish, a bit rough round the edges tbh. Not bad though, grows on ya. Just my two pence. 😉
