Highland Park 1988 28 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, had a wee dram of this tonight 🥃. Colur is nice and gold, looks promissing. Nose is sweet, hony and vanilla mostly 🍯. Taste got a bit of spice, cinamon maybe? Finish warms the chest, quite smooth 🔥. Proper lovely for a quiet eveing at home 🏠. Would recomend to mates definately. Cheers! 🍻

Just had a sip—ooh, that’s a proper noseful rn 🥃 Bit of a smoky start, like a bonfire on the beach. Then comes this lovely sweet hit—honey? Or maybe toffee? 🍯 Got some orchard fruit too, like stewed apples. Ooh, now there’s a spicy kick at the back, ginger or cinnamon? Finish is long, warm, and leaves a kind of herbal thing—thyme? 🌿 Texture’s nice and creamy, coats the mouth well. Blimey, that’s a complex one. Quite enjoyably so. 👍

The old whisky has flavours of stewed apple and a bit of spice 🍎, maybe some wood and a touch of smoke 💨. It's quite warming on the tongue. There’s also a honey sweetness that lingers, and I think I get some orange peel and ginger notes too. The finish is long and has this lovely dried fruit and dark chocolate vibe. It’s like a cozy autumn evening in a glass 🥃. Really reminds me of old leather and tobacco, but in a good way! One of my faviourites for sure.
