Highland Park Single Cask 1975 32 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right then, let’s have a wee nosing. First sniff is like sticking your head in a tin of stewed apples and pears, with a proper drizzle of heather honey behind it 🍯🍎. Bit of vanilla custard lurking too. On the tongue it’s silkier than expected—oily, almost. That sweetness sticks around but now there’s a gentle prickle of cinnamon and nutmeg, maybe a whisper of clove. Touch of caramalised oranges as well 🍊. Finish goes on for ages, all gentle oak and a breath of campfire smoke at the very end. Warms the chest lovely. Smashing dram, that. 👌🔥

This one's got a right proper kick to it! 🔥 Deep, smoky notes at first sip, kinda like a bonfire in autumn. Then it mellows out into something sweet - honey? Vanilla maybe? Mouthfeel is rich but smooth, not harsh at all. 👌 A bit of spice creeps up later, cinnamon I reckon. Leaves a nice warm glow. Definitely one to savour slowly, innit?
